BTS is preparing for their comeback album ARIRANG, set for release on March 20, 2026, marking their first group release in nearly four years after completing military service. Rumors of a free concert at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square have circulated, but agency BIGHIT MUSIC stated that plans are still under discussion with no official confirmation. The agency has applied for permission to hold events at several historic sites, including Gwanghwamun Square, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Sungnyemun Gate. Following the album release, BTS will begin a world tour starting April 9, covering 79 shows in 34 cities.
