Vivek Shanbhag is a prolific Kannada author with ten fiction works and three plays to his name. His novel 'Ghachar Ghochar' achieved international recognition, translated into over 20 languages. Shanbhag also co-translated U.R. Ananthamurthy's 'Hindutva or Hind Swaraj' into English and serves as a visiting professor of Creative Writing at Ashoka University.
