Ajay Devgn will star in the action film "Chauhaan," set for theatrical release on October 1, 2027. Directed by Neeraj Yadav and produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, and Jyoti Deshpande, the film is a tribute to Devgn's late father, stunt choreographer Veeru Devgan. Set in Kashmir's Pulwama, Devgn plays an army officer in a gritty, action-packed narrative. The announcement teaser features the dialogue "Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai," which sparked online debate about a possible reference to Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" franchise. The film is presented by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions.
