Apple TV has canceled the comedy-drama series "Palm Royale" after two seasons. The show, starring Kristen Wiig as an ambitious social climber in 1960s Palm Beach, debuted in 2024 and featured a notable ensemble cast including Ricky Martin and Carol Burnett. Despite receiving 11 Emmy nominations and winning one for its main title theme music, along with Screen Actors Guild recognition for Wiig, Apple TV decided to end the series. The show was loosely based on Juliet McDaniel's novel "Mr. and Mrs. American Pie."
