
Seven books exploring Himachal Pradesh's languages, culture, traditions, and geography were released in Shimla by the Himachal Literature, Culture and Environment Manch. Authored by established and emerging writers, the books cover diverse topics from Lahaul's culture to Kinnaur's oral traditions and travelogues. Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh and Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar attended the event, emphasizing the importance of encouraging new writers amidst technological advancements and the need for truthfulness in writing.
