K-pop label ADOR has filed a damages suit seeking nearly 43.1 billion won against former member Danielle, her family member, and the group's former producer, Min Hee-jin. This action follows a court ruling that NewJeans members must honor their contracts with ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE. ADOR alleges significant responsibility for the dispute and NewJeans's departure lies with Min and Danielle's family member. While three remaining members are staying, Minji is still in talks. The dispute began last year amid allegations of HYBE forcing Min out as ADOR CEO.
