Priyadarshan Supports Rajpal Yadav Amid Rs 9 Crore Cheque Bounce Case

Filmmaker Priyadarshan has expressed support for actor Rajpal Yadav amid a Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case linked to a loan for the 2010 film Ata Pata Laapata. Yadav, who surrendered to authorities and was granted interim bail until March 18, has repaid Rs 1.5 crore. Priyadarshan described Yadav as an innocent person who fell into a trap, attributing the situation partly to his 'poor education,' a comment Yadav has disputed. The duo have collaborated on several Hindi comedy films over two decades.
