Salman Khan Seeks Delhi High Court Stay on Film Kala Hiran Over Personality Rights
Actor Salman Khan has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking an immediate stay on the production, promotion, and release of the film Kala Hiran: Battle for Legacy. He alleges the film, inspired by his 1998 blackbuck poaching case, violates his personality and publicity rights by using a lookalike and promotional material resembling him. Salman claims this could harm his reputation and prejudice ongoing legal proceedings. The court is set to hear the injunction application against the film's makers, including producer Amit Jani and director Bharat Shrinate.
