Veteran Screenwriter Salim Khan Discharged After Month-Long Hospital Stay in Mumbai

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of actor Salman Khan and one half of the iconic Salim-Javed duo, was discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on March 17 after nearly a month of treatment for a minor brain haemorrhage. Admitted on February 17, he underwent a Digital Subtraction Angiography procedure and was placed on ventilator support as a precaution. His condition improved steadily, with regular visits from family and film industry friends. Although discharged, he remains under observation at the hospital.
