HBO Casts James and Lily Potter, Charlie Weasley for Harry Potter Series Premiere
HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series, premiering December 25, 2026, has cast Jasper Talbot and Hannah Chinn as James and Lily Potter, Harry's parents, and Harry Gilby as Charlie Weasley, Ron's older brother who works with dragons in Romania. These characters will appear in the first season, based on 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.' While James and Lily's roles may have limited screen time, Charlie Weasley is expected to have a more prominent presence than in the original films. The series aims to expand on the wizarding world with a fresh cast and new perspectives.
