Anupam Kher Joins Cast of Prabhas' Telugu Period Drama Fauzi

Anupam Kher has joined the cast of Prabhas' upcoming Telugu period drama Fauzi, announced by Mythri Movie Makers on Kher's 71st birthday. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is set in the 1940s and centers on a soldier in the Azad Hind Force. Fauzi, planned as a two-part series with a prequel, also features actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Imanvi Esmail. The film is expected to release in 2026, exploring themes of bravery and sacrifice during India's pre-Independence era.
