Film producer Meyer Gottlieb, known for his work on "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," has died at age 86. Gottlieb, a Holocaust survivor born in Poland, was the longtime chief of Samuel Goldwyn Films. He passed away at his Los Angeles home on Monday.
