Arundhati Roy's 1989 Film to Screen at 2026 Berlin Film Festival

A 4K restored version of Arundhati Roy's 1989 film 'In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones' will be screened at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival's Berlinale Classics segment. The film, written by Roy and directed by Pradip Krishen, is a campus comedy set in a 1970s Delhi architecture school, inspired by Roy's own experiences. It features early performances by Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee. Roy and Krishen previously collaborated on other films, and both will attend the festival.
