Television actor Arjun Bijlani's father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami, passed away at 73 after suffering a sudden stroke. The family had to cut short their New Year vacation in Dubai to return to Mumbai. Swami was admitted to the ICU and placed on a ventilator before his death. Videos from the funeral showed Bijlani becoming emotional and consoling his son, while his wife Neha Swami was also visibly distraught. He is survived by his daughter Neha and son Nishank.
