Rima Das to Premiere 'Not a Hero' at 2026 Berlin Film Festival

National Award-winning filmmaker Rima Das will premiere her latest feature, Not a Hero, at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival's Generation Kplus Competition on February 14, 2026. This marks her third selection at the festival following Village Rockstar (2019) and Village Rockstars 2 (2025). The film, shot in Assamese, Hindi, and English, follows a boy adapting to life in his ancestral village, exploring themes of strength and belonging. It is produced by Das's Flying River Films with Akanga Film Asia.
