
Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Group, was a licensed pilot who earned his license during his student days in the US. His passion for aviation led him to fly various aircraft, including an F-16 fighter jet at age 69. Tata also contributed to aviation in India by co-founding the Jamshedpur Cooperative Flying Club and was instrumental in launching Vistara airline, continuing his uncle JRD Tata's legacy.
