24th Pune International Film Festival to Showcase Global Cinema from January 15 to 22

The 24th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) will take place from January 15 to 22, 2026, across 10 screens in Pune, showcasing around 130-140 films from 103 countries. The festival honors the birth centenary of filmmaker Guru Dutt and features opening and closing films by Paolo Sorrentino and Jim Jarmusch. Maharashtra's cultural affairs chief secretary highlighted the festival's role in preserving collective film viewing amid digital shifts, with government support emphasizing Pune's cultural significance.
