Pokémon Announces New Games Winds and Waves for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027

The Pokémon Company announced two new RPG titles, Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, set for global release in 2027 exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. These games feature expansive open-world exploration across island and oceanic regions, with diverse ecosystems, a day-night cycle, and new starter Pokémon named Pombon, Gecqua, and Browt. Additional releases include classic games on Nintendo Switch Online and a new battle-focused title, Pokémon Champions, for Switch and mobile platforms.
