Rishi Kapoor Reacted Strongly to Ranbir Kapoor's Marijuana Admission, Line Producer Recalls
Line producer Sumit Tyagi recalled that late actor Rishi Kapoor reacted strongly after seeing his son Ranbir Kapoor admit to smoking marijuana in an interview. While shooting Do Dooni Chaar, Rishi reportedly called Ranbir and yelled at him upon hearing the confession. Ranbir later visited the set but met only his mother, Neetu Kapoor, who was described as caring and respectful, contrasting with Rishi's strict demeanor. Ranbir had admitted using marijuana during film school and for acting purposes but said he quit due to its effects.
