Costume designer Smriti Chauhan has revealed that actor Irrfan Khan endured significant pain and physical deterioration while filming his last movie, Angrezi Medium. Chauhan recalled that Khan was visibly shrinking, requiring extensive padding in his costumes, and that shoots were sometimes cancelled due to his inability to work through the pain. He also frequently felt cold, necessitating special warmers. Despite his struggles, Khan remained dedicated to his craft until his final days.
