Vivaan Shah Discusses Role and Preparation for War Drama 'Ikkis'

Vivaan Shah portrayed Captain Vijendra Malhotra in the war drama 'Ikkis,' which depicts the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. Shah prepared physically with military-style training and drew inspiration from his uncle, retired Lieutenant General Zameeruddin Shah, and the real Captain Malhotra. The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Agastya Nanda, was released theatrically in January 2026 and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
