Amay Mehrishi's short film Abracadabra premiered at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in the Generation Kplus 2026 competition. The film, Mehrishi's graduation project from the London Film School, explores a 12-year-old boy's emotional experience on a school bus, inspired by the director's own childhood memory. Set entirely inside the bus, it features 30 non-professional child actors prepared through workshops, highlighting subtle childhood emotions often unnoticed by adults.
