Release of Mammootty-Mohanlal Film Patriot Uncertain Over Revenue Sharing Dispute

The release of the Malayalam film Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal and scheduled for April 23, faces uncertainty due to a revenue-sharing dispute. The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) opposes the producer's demand for a 60:40 split in the first two weeks, differing from the existing model of 60:40 in week one, 55:45 in week two, and 50:50 in week three. FEUOK warns this change could cause financial losses for exhibitors, while the producer cites the film's high budget as justification.
