Sudha Kongara Seeks Unpaid Dues, Court Restrains Parasakthi Satellite Release
Director Sudha Kongara has approached the Madras High Court seeking Rs 8.39 crore in unpaid remuneration for the Tamil film Parasakthi, produced by Dawn Pictures. She alleges that despite the film's release and invoices raised, a substantial portion of her agreed Rs 17.70 crore payment remains unsettled. Kongara has also requested a stay on the release of Dawn Pictures' upcoming film Idhayam Murali, scheduled for July 10. The court has restrained Parasakthi's satellite release until July 8 and directed the producer to respond by July 7.
