Singer-Actor Prashant Tamang Dies; Family and Public Pay Respects

Prashant Tamang, winner of Indian Idol 3 and a singer-actor known for his work in Nepali films and the web series Paatal Lok 2, passed away suddenly on January 11 due to cardiac arrest. His wife Martha Aley and young daughter paid their respects amid widespread condolences. BJP MP Raju Bista and others mourned his contributions to music and the Gorkha community. Martha clarified his death was natural, occurring in his sleep without suspicious circumstances.
