The film received a record 16 nominations and won four awards, including Best Original Screenplay. Jordan became the sixth Black actor to win Best Actor, joining a distinguished group of predecessors. Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for "Hamnet," while "One Battle After Another" took Best Picture and Best Director honors.
