Drishyam 3 has officially begun production, confirmed by actress Ishita Dutta through social media posts featuring the film's clapboard. The Hindi sequel stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, and Shriya Saran, with a scheduled release on October 2, 2026. The Malayalam version, starring Mohanlal, is set to release earlier on April 2, 2026. The project faced controversy when actor Akshaye Khanna exited shortly before filming, reportedly over look and remuneration disagreements.
