Mani Ratnam to Cast Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi in New Film Project

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam is reportedly set to cast Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi as leads in his upcoming directorial, with production expected to start this summer. This project marks Sethupathi's reunion with Mani Ratnam since their 2018 film, with the actor describing the new venture as distinct from their previous collaboration. Sai Pallavi will play the female lead, and the film is said to be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. Meanwhile, Sethupathi has also confirmed his involvement in other projects, including Vetrimaaran's 'Arasan' and Thiagarajan Kumararaja's 'Pocket Novel.'
