Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming film O'Romeo, based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, has sparked controversy after Hussain Ustara's daughter, Sanober Shaikh, alleged misrepresentation of her father's life and lack of family consent. Bhardwaj stated he legally acquired the book rights and did not seek permission from Ustara's family, citing fictional elements in the film. Sanober also disputed claims that Zaidi obtained family consent. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and is set for release on February 13, 2026.
