Paresh Rawal Confirms Sequel to 2006 Film Malamaal Weekly

Nearly two decades after the 2006 sleeper hit Malamaal Weekly, a sequel is confirmed by actor Paresh Rawal, who reprises his role. Directed by Priyadarshan, the original film was a commercial success, earning over six times its budget. While an official announcement is pending, the sequel will feature Manoj Bajpayee replacing Govinda in Bhagam Bhaag 2, another related project. The original cast included Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, and Riteish Deshmukh.
