Radhika Apte Defends Alia Bhatt Against Criticism Over Action Role in Alpha
Actress Radhika Apte defended Alia Bhatt amid criticism of her physique and suitability for the action film Alpha. Apte highlighted double standards in judging female actors' fitness compared to male actors, noting that many male action stars have different body types. She linked the criticism to traditional societal expectations about women's roles and freedoms. Alpha, starring Bhatt and Sharvari, was released on July 3 and received mixed reactions, with some praising its entertainment value.
