China's state-run Global Times has criticized the teaser of the upcoming Bollywood film 'Battle of Galwan,' accusing it of distorting facts about the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. The publication claims the film misrepresents events, downplays the role of Indian officer Colonel Santosh Babu, and exaggerates Indian casualty figures. Chinese netizens also reportedly found the teaser exaggerated. The film, based on the clash where India officially lost around 20 soldiers and China later acknowledged four, is set to release in 2026.
