Govinda reportedly acted in self-defence with a licensed gun, chasing away unidentified assailants. An FIR was filed, and video evidence exists. The manager denied any criminal intent or wrongdoing by Govinda, emphasizing the actor's safety concerns and dismissing misleading social media speculation. Earlier in 2024, Govinda was hospitalised after accidentally shooting himself while handling his firearm.
