Warner Bros. Develops New Animated Powerpuff Girls Film
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation announced a new Powerpuff Girls animated film is in development, revealed at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The project, based on the 1998 Cartoon Network series about three superpowered kindergarten girls—Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup—has not yet received a formal green light, and plot details remain undisclosed. This film follows previous adaptations, including the 2002 movie and a 2016 reboot, with the studio planning it as part of its expanding theatrical slate.
