Rapper Drake is facing a proposed U.S. class-action lawsuit alleging he participated in a scheme to inflate his music streaming numbers. The suit claims Drake, along with influencer Adin Ross, promoted the online gambling platform Stake.us using virtual currencies provided by the company. Plaintiffs allege this was done to obscure money transmissions and artificially boost streaming plays. The lawsuit, filed in Virginia, seeks at least $5 million in damages. None of the allegations have been proven in court, and representatives for Drake and Stake have not yet commented.
