Priyanka Chopra confirmed her return to Indian cinema after a six-to-seven-year hiatus with SS Rajamouli's upcoming film Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu. She described the project as an adventure, highlighting its large scale and that it is being shot in IMAX format. Filming has been ongoing for 14 months and will continue for another six, with a worldwide release planned for April 2027.
