Yami Gautam's Nayyi Navelli Opens with Mixed Reviews and Modest Box Office
Yami Gautam's fantasy horror-comedy Nayyi Navelli opened on October 16, 2026, with mixed critical reviews and modest box office performance amid competition from Rajkummar Rao's Prahaar. Advance bookings showed Nayyi Navelli leading slightly, with opening day collections estimated between Rs 1.23 crore and Rs 3.25 crore across sources. Critics praised Yami's performance but noted weaknesses in screenplay and entertainment value. The film blends folklore, family drama, and supernatural elements, while Prahaar received generally more positive reviews as a courtroom drama.
