Mike Flanagan's 'The Exorcist' Scheduled for March 2027 Release

Mike Flanagan's new film, a 'radical new take' on the iconic horror franchise The Exorcist, is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on March 12, 2027. Starring Scarlett Johansson and Jacobi Jupe, the project is produced by Universal in collaboration with Blumhouse-Atomic Monster. While set in the same universe as the 1973 original, it is not a sequel to 2023's The Exorcist: Believer. The original film was a critical and commercial success, earning 10 Academy Award nominations and grossing $441 million globally.
