
The Kannada play Nammolagobba Gandhi, directed by Chidambar Rao Jambe and written by Dadasaheb S. Chougale, will be performed by Rangayana actors in Belagavi on January 21 at Kannada Bhavan. The play, featuring music by Raghav Kammar, depicts a pre-independence village preparing to welcome Mahatma Gandhi for an anti-British protest, highlighting social issues and local opposition. Entry is free, with Karnataka's PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi and KLE Society Chairperson Prabhakar Kore expected to attend.
