Kamal Haasan and Shankar Confirm Indian 3 Production Resumes After Indian 2
Kamal Haasan and director S Shankar have confirmed that Indian 3, the third installment in the Indian franchise, is back in production with post-production underway. The film will explore the backstory of Senapathy's father, Veerasekaran Balram, also played by Haasan. Despite Indian 2's underwhelming box office performance and mixed reviews, the makers are continuing the franchise with returning cast members and crew, including composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to release theatrically, with no official date announced yet.
