
Emmy-winning producer and director Tom Cherones, known for his significant contributions to the sitcom 'Seinfeld', has died at the age of 86. Cherones passed away at his home in Florence, Oregon, after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. He directed and produced numerous episodes of 'Seinfeld', including the second episode, 'The Stakeout', and was part of the team that won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993. His career also included work on other television shows and a brief on-screen cameo.
