Mammootty and Adoor Gopalakrishnan Complete Filming of Padayaatra

Filming for Padayaatra, directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and starring Mammootty as Dr Devadas, has been completed. The film marks their first collaboration in over 30 years and explores themes of tribal life and social challenges, with Mammootty's character inspired by Gandhian ideals. The cast includes Grace Antony, Indrans, and Sreeshma Chandran. Produced by Mammootty Kampany, the film's screenplay is co-written by Gopalakrishnan and K V Mohan Kumar, with cinematography by Shehnad Jalal and music by Mujeeb Majeed.
