During the Los Angeles premiere of Scream 7 at Paramount Studios, around 25 pro-Palestine protesters gathered, calling for a boycott of the film and the studio. The demonstration, led by groups including Entertainment Labor for Palestine and CODEPINK LA, highlighted concerns over the removal of actress Melissa Barrera from the project after her pro-Palestine posts amid the Israel-Hamas conflict. Director Kevin Williamson acknowledged the protests but expressed uncertainty about canceling Paramount. The film is set for release on February 27.
