
The Delhi International Film Festival, starting March 25 at Bharat Mandapam, will feature special tributes to Indian cinema figures such as late Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Guru Dutt, and K Balachander. With a record 2,100 entries, including over 1,300 international films, up to 125 will be screened during the week-long event. The festival aims to position Delhi as a global cinema hub and includes premieres, workshops, cultural performances, and a special programme highlighting women filmmakers in collaboration with producer Guneet Monga.
