Aditya Dhar Transitioned from Cricket Aspirations to Filmmaking After Under-19 Setback

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar, known for the blockbuster Dhurandhar, initially aspired to play cricket and aimed for the Under-19 Indian team. According to director Priyadarshan, Dhar was unable to join the team due to political influence, which led to his disappointment and eventual shift to filmmaking after watching the film Gardish. Dhar faced early struggles in the industry before achieving success, with Dhurandhar 2 scheduled for release in March 2026.
