Udupi will host a two-day children's theatre festival, 'Makkala Natakotsava,' starting December 29, featuring 11 dramas by over 250 high school students from 11 schools. The event aims to showcase students' theatre skills and personality development. Organizers cited challenges like heavy rains and the Social and Educational Survey for not increasing the number of participating schools this year. Additionally, two dramas by the Neenasam Troupe will be staged on December 31 and January 1.
