Ranabaali Film Cleared by CBFC with UA Certificate Ahead of October Release
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming period drama Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has received a U A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification without any cuts. Set against the 1870s British colonial rule and the Great Madras Famine, the film depicts the struggles of people in Rayalaseema, with Vijay playing the titular rebel and Rashmika his wife. Ranabaali is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, a day after Rajinikanth's Jailer 2, leading to a box-office clash. Advance bookings have shown strong interest across multiple languages.
