Japanese artist Kumagai Minoru is showcasing his first solo exhibition in India, 'Earthsongs From Japan,' at Kalamkaar Bikaner House, Delhi. Featuring 50 paintings on paper, the exhibition highlights his unique 'Saihaku' technique, which blends traditional Japanese pigments with gold, silver, and holographic foils. Curated by Uma Nair, the works explore themes of nature, human interdependence, and a fusion of Eastern and Western artistic influences through contemplative, layered compositions.
