Shahid Kapoor reunited with creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, sharing images from the set and teasing his character Sunny's look. The first season, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna, premiered in February 2023. Both Kapoor and the creators confirmed the new season's production through social media posts.
