The film 'The Housemaid,' starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, has had its runtime reduced by eight minutes for its Indian release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) mandated the removal of scenes featuring full frontal nudity, particularly those involving Sydney Sweeney and a scene with Amanda Seyfried using a breast pump. Despite receiving an 'A' certificate, these edits were required for clearance in India, altering the film's original 131.46-minute runtime to 125.46 minutes.
